Fitness Theory Course Exam Challenges
The Fitness Theory (FT)
is a pre-requisite to the following
Fitness NB
specialty modules: Group Fitness
Leadership (GFL), Resistance Training Leadership (RTL), Aquafitness
Leadership (AFL), Older Adult Fitness Leadership (OAFL) and Personal Fitness
Trainer (PFT). In many cases people with training or education in these areas
wish to challenge these exams. Those who wish to challenge the
Fitness Theory Exam, must pay an administrative fee of $75.00 + HST to Fitness NB prior to writing the exam. Please note: This fee
does not include
the cost of the Fitness Theory manual ($31.50 + shipping and handling).
After reviewing the FT manual, you will contact the
Fitness NB
office to arrange
for an appointment to write the exam in your area.
Please note: If you do not successfully pass the FT Exam (80% or higher) on your first attempt , you will be required to attend the full Fitness Theory Course. Re-writes will not be granted on exam challenges.
Specialty
Course Exam Challenges
If you would like to go on and
challenge one of the specialty theory exams, you will be required to purchase
the specialty manual from
Fitness NB. After reviewing the specialty manual, you will contact the
Fitness NB office to arrange for an appointment to write the exam in your area.
The administration fee will not be charged to write the specialty theory exam
if it is written at the same time as the Fitness Theory (FT) Exam. If
a separate appointment is required to write the specialty exam, you must pay
an additional administration fee of $75.00 + HST to Fitness NB.
Please note: If you do not successfully pass the Specialty Theory Exam (80% or higher) on your first attempt , you will be required to attend the full Specialty Course. Re-writes will not be granted on exam challenges.
